I like to talk things through, over a desk, with a notebook to hand. My role is to work with the you to determine and implement brand and design strategies that align with business goals, turning grey areas to black or white.

When not at work, given half a chance, I’ll be on my motorbike. It’s my happy place.


For over 20 years I’ve helped businesses to better communicate with their customers. As a strategist, a creative director but always from the perspective of a designer.

I am happy to say that I am still a designer after 20+ years in the industry and most days can be found at a desk, in front of a computer or with a notebook and pen in hand.

Michael is an independent design strategist, consultant, facilitator and advisor who stimulates fresh thinking within and for national and global clients on identity, positioning, future strategy, communications and growth.

A seasoned international strategist and facilitator, Michael uses design-led methods to build genuine insight leading to enhanced action for clients across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, media, creative industries and finance.

Michael was a key part of the STR re-brand.



Lindsey is a digital marketing professional with over 15 years experience working in creative industries and business growth. She specialises in creating digital strategies, producing and managing content and social media projects, paid media, creative growth strategies, sales funnels and email marketing. Lindsey works with us to generate traction and revenue for our clients via content marketing and social media strategy.

Our work with Lindsey for Highclere resulted in:

  • Increased email list by 300%

  • Increased revenue over £200k


Ink-in-veins’ type with two decades of strategic, commercial writing, brand voice and content generation experience across channels as a freelance copywriter and commercial journalist.

Core sectors and areas: Consumer goods, cultural, education (especially higher education), energy, financial, food processing, government (local and national), insurance, IT, luxury retail, manufacturing and industry, marine, oil and gas, not for- profit, professional services, property, retail, Software as a Service (SaaS), transportation and telecommunications.

Polly - Photographer

Polly is a freelance photographer equally comfortable shooting architecture, food, fashion, product and reportage. She is full of life and passion for her craft as well as having an uncanny knack for immediately settling her subjects, getting the best from even the most camera-shy.

Polly’s work for Highclere has helped us to communicate the highs and lows of horse racing on the track as well as life behind the scenes.
